There is always a– Way!

There is always a way.
It’s hard to admit that. The way is not always glamorous nor is it easy but there is always a way.

While on campus at the missions headquarters I haven’t been able to access my website hence why the post and podcast have been few and far in between but today I decided to call the hosting site and find another way.

The IT guy and I spent several days trying to figure out why my site was the only site that wasn’t accessible from mac devices We figured it was an IP issue and we thought we solved it. But we didn’t. In all honesty I gave up.

There were so many other things to do and I kind of forgot about it. But it’s a new season and I knew I needed to get back in the saddle.

After calling the hosting company she informed me that using a site such as kproxy.com could override the limtations and low and behold it did.

There is always a WAY. But what are you willing to do to get to the end goal?

ChristinaFaith.com Update- More to Come

I took a step back from blogging last month to breath a bit and work on the issues of my heart. The amazing thing about God is that He is so concerned about us that He wants us to be healed from past wounds (mainly my childhood). I desire to be a world changing entrepreneur who uses her resources for God’s agenda and it is that desire that created the podcast, blog and new things we will be rolling out. I’ve struggled with being unashamed on this platform but I won’t any longer. Some days you will get things related to entrepreneurship and other days I will simply share what God is doing in my life, others and the world. Thank you all so much for your support. The podcast is still doing great! The site is still scaling and we are still moving forward. I look forward to growing with you.

Why You Should Reflect On The Past

It’s easy to just keep going without taking a moment to stop and remember. Remembering your past allows you to keep a fresh perspective on your current situation.

Henri J.M. Nouwen stated:

By cutting off our past we paralyze our future: forgetting the evil behind us we evolve the evil in front of us.

That is often how we are in regard to starting and finishing things. We don’t remember, reflect and evaluate the past therefore we become a slave to what we once were.

In order to finish something you have to remember why you started it in the beginning. Everything starts and ends with your “why”. You know “why” you go to work everyday. If you don’t go to work you won’t get a check. That why sits in front of your face 5-6 days a week. What was your “why” for starting that last project that is unfinished?

Every week I am reminded about my why of writing, podcasting and directing. I want to inspire authentic change in the hearts of others and my own. When people tweet me about the impact that the podcast, blog or a film is having on them I remember my why. When I don’t post on time they remind me of my why by showing that they are impacted by my lack of consistency.

Everyday you have to wake up and remember why you hustle and grind. It can’t just be for money because that will come and go. Your hustle has to be for a deeper reason and that reason should always include someone else.

I encourage you today not to ignore the past but evaluate it and remember where you came from. Your past can be a great tool or a great master.

Keep PUSHING!

push

When you’re in the midst of something great there is always the desire to STOP. It gets heavy, finances aren’t flowing, the statistics don’t add up, other’s speak against the vision and you yourself doubt the process. Starting anything isn’t easy. It is HARD. You feel like your back is up against the wall and the vision will never be made a reality. In the midst of it don’t stop! Keep PUSHING. Nothing worth having comes easy. Trials, tribulation and waiting builds PATIENCE! In the midst of the push you have to discover the joy! The joy to keep going. The joy to remember why you started. The joy to be overwhelmed with hope. The joy to believe you will produce. (James 1:2-4)

**Trials**
1.Test your faith
2. Produce endurance
3. Perfect & complete you

In the midst of developing your vision the trials ultimately reveal what you are really made of. They expose your weaknesses & strengthens. Often, the weaknesses get more exposure. When you discover those weaknesses don’t run from them forge ahead! PUSH! Keep running up the hill. If you stop you will always think of what could have been rather than what it has become.

In the midst of the trials fix your eyes on the Sustainer & Giver of the vision for He is your help in the time of trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
